How does the match scoring work?
We read each job for the skills and experience it really asks for, then compare it to your CV. You get a 0–100 score showing how well you fit — so you spend time on the roles worth applying to.
Where do the jobs come from?
Directly from job portals sourced from companies’ own careers pages — Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, BambooHR. You’re seeing first-hand, verified listings, not aggregator duplicates.
Is my uploaded CV data secure?
Yes. Your CV is processed securely and stored privately — only you can access it, and only through a key that expires. It’s never shared with employers, and you can delete it anytime.
How long do you keep my CV?
We keep your CV for up to 3 months, then delete it automatically. You can also remove it yourself from your profile in one click, anytime — no waiting.
Will Jobctl make up experience I don’t have?
Never. jobctl rewrites and reframes your real experience to fit a role — it doesn’t invent skills or jobs. Gaps stay visible so you decide what to add, honestly.
What do I get, and is the resume ATS-friendly?

How is this different from just using ChatGPT or Claude?
